PARTY FOR THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE SCHOOL DIPLOMAS AS A RESPONSE TO PROTESTS

In Genoa the refugee protests were tough and insistent. The response of the Migrantes Office of the Archdiocese of Genoa was not long to wait and, while highlighting the burdens of hospitality, it emphasizes the constructive aspects of the active management model of various shelters located in the city of Genoa. One among many: the big party at the Campus of Coronata to celebrate the diplomas of the Italian language schools and vocational training schools for refugees.

HEALTH STATUS OF REFUGEES

The health status of those who arrived in our country in search of protection is not just about organic diseases, but also the psychic aspects. The traumas that refugees bring in are countless: posttraumatic stress disorders, anxiety, and depression, just to name a few. Even the long wait for political refugee status recognition often causes an emotional paralysis. Therefore, it happens that the psychological malaise of asylum seekers becomes an increasingly evident problem in the Italian reception system.

LAZIO REGION: NEET INTERNSHIPS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

The Lazio Region promotes actions for the younger generations in fragile conditions through the publication of a Public Notice regarding extracurricular internships, in order to enable and encourage the entry into the labour market of NEET (Not Engaged in Education, Employment or Training) young people. These are people aged between 18 and 29, who are not enrolled in school, university, or training courses, and who don’t work and carry out any extracurricular internships.
