YOUNG MIGRANTS VOLUNTEER UNIVERSAL CIVIL SERVICE PROJECTS FOR INTERNATIONAL AND HUMANITARIAN PROTECTION HOLDERS

Last month the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies kicked off the first attempt to involve young holders of international and humanitarian protection in Civil Service activities. There are 3,000 places available in different sectors: assistance and personal services, civil defence, environment, artistic and cultural heritage, protection of civil rights.

WORKSHOP: MIGRANTS AND WORKERS EXPLOITATION IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR

From November 30th to December 2nd 2017 In Migrazione e Tempi Moderni hold an innovative workshop about a dramatical, present issue that involves migrant people in particular: serious work exploitation, illegal recruitment and the new Law 199 - 2016.

WORKSHOPS ABOUT THE ORIGIN CONTEXTS OF FORCED MIGRATIONS - FOLLOW-UP WORKSHOPS IN ROME.

From November 20th to December 18th 2017 In Migrazione e Tempi Moderni hold a second round of workshops about the contexts of origin of forced migrations, specifically dedicated to those involved in the reception of asylum seekers and beneficiaries of international protection. Five meetings that will address the social, political and cultural contexts of 10 countries of origin of asylum seekers and refugees: Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Somalia, Egypt, Libya, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Gambia and Senegal.

MIGRANTS AT THE SERVICE OF OTHER MIGRANTS: A WOODEN HOUSE FOR THE RIGHTS OF FARMHANDS IN TOMATOEFIELDS

Three architects and an idea, an Austrian company of wooden houses and a project to involve the work of asylum seekers. This is the network synergy that will bring a wooden house, the "Hospital (ity) School", from Lombardy to Calabria by Christmas. It will be a legal coulselling office, clinic and Italian school for migrants from the former Rosarno ghetto.
